In an emotional week for Tennessee Titans' defensive line coach Tracy Rocker, he made time to support his son, Kumar Rocker, during his Major League Baseball debut with the Texas Rangers. Following practice, he traveled to Seattle, urged by Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk, to watch Kumar pitch for the first time at T-Mobile Park.
Kumar, a former Vanderbilt standout and No. 3 overall pick, excelled in his MLB debut, hurling four innings with one run allowed and seven strikeouts. The Texas Rangers triumphed over the Seattle Mariners, 5-4, with Kumar showing impressive velocity and skill on the mound.
