The Washington Commanders are making a significant move by acquiring cornerback Marshon Lattimore from the New Orleans Saints ahead of the NFL trade deadline. In exchange, the Commanders will send a third, fourth, and sixth-round pick to New Orleans while receiving a fifth-round pick along with Lattimore.
This acquisition comes as the Commanders, currently with a surprising 7-2 record, aim to bolster their defense amid unexpected playoff hopes. Lattimore is expected to start alongside fellow cornerbacks Benjamin St-Juste and rookie Mike Sainristil.
