The Washington Commanders have fired coach Ron Rivera as new owners look to make changes to the franchise they bought last year. Ownership is splitting the responsibilities of head of football personnel and coach, and a majority of the front office and coaching staff are expected to be let go. Rivera finished with a record of 102-103-2 as head coach, and while he faced plenty of challenges during his tenure, he is respected for navigating the organization through difficult times.
