After being cut from the Capitals training camp, he made an immediate impact upon his season debut on October 2, scoring two goals and adding an assist in a 5-2 victory over the Kelowna Rockets. He continued to excel, recording another two-goal game on October 9, although the Cougars lost in a shootout. Parascak showcased his scoring ability throughout October, including a highlight-reel goal on October 25 and another two-goal performance on October 29 against the Moose Jaw Warriors. Overall, he played 10 games in October, scoring 8 goals and recording 11 assists for a total of 19 points, contributing significantly to the Cougars' success as they sit in second place in the Western Conference.
