The Atlanta Falcons are facing uncertainty regarding placekicker Younghoe Koo's availability for their upcoming game against the Los Angeles Chargers due to a right hip injury. Koo has been listed as questionable, prompting the team to sign kicker Riley Patterson to the practice squad.
This season, Koo has successfully converted 19 of 26 field goals, but he struggled in a recent game against New Orleans, making only one of four attempts. In contrast, he managed to convert both of his attempts in a loss to Denver.
Additionally, cornerback Mike Hughes has been ruled out due to a neck injury. To accommodate Patterson, the Falcons released safety Dane Cruikshank from the practice squad.
