Former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Jamal Agnew has signed a one-year deal worth up to $2.5 million with the Atlanta Falcons for the upcoming 2025 season. Agnew, who spent the previous year on the Pittsburgh Steelers' practice squad, is recovering from a serious leg injury sustained in December 2023. A notable return specialist, he averaged 8.5 yards per punt return and 25.2 yards per kick return during his tenure with the Jaguars, who he represented from 2021 to 2023, catching 47 passes for 416 yards and four touchdowns in 25 games.

Selected in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL draft by the Detroit Lions, Agnew made a name for himself as an All-Pro returner in his rookie season.
