Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys, stirred controversy by stating he 'couldn't afford' star running back Derrick Henry, even after the player expressed interest in joining the team.
Rex Ryan criticized Jones for being cheap, claiming he could have fixed the Cowboys' struggling defense if hired as the defensive coordinator. He noted that the Cowboys currently rank in the bottom five defensively.
Ryan, who has not coached since 2016, was in the running for the position before the Cowboys opted for Mike Zimmer.
