Ka'dar Hollman has been elevated from the practice squad ahead of the Ravens' home opener against the Raiders. At 30 years old, he has a history of primarily playing special teams and logged 21 snaps in the season opener against the Chiefs. Hollman was initially signed by the Ravens in the offseason, cut as the roster was trimmed to 53, and then re-signed to the practice squad. With rookie cornerback Nate Wiggins ruled out due to a neck injury from a car accident, Hollman provides valuable depth and insurance in the secondary. Coach John Harbaugh indicated that Wiggins’ injury is not expected to be long-term.
