Wide receiver Russell Gage was cut by the Ravens soon after joining the team in August. He did not record any preseason stats after recovering from a significant knee injury. Previously, Gage played with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons.

The Ravens also waived several other players, including Sean Ryan, Mike Rigerman, Riley Sharp, Darrell Simpson, Tramel Walthour, and Jack Browning.
