Jay Scrubb was recently waived by the Boston Celtics after signing with the team. Standing at 6-foot-5, he is expected to join the Celtics' G League affiliate in Maine. Scrubb was drafted 55th overall in 2020 and previously played for the LA Clippers, where he showed promise in the G League, averaging 19.8 points per game during the Showcase Cup. After recovering from ACL surgery, he aims to make a strong comeback and work his way back into the NBA.
