Cooper has been limited in practice and is wearing a wrap on his left hand. Coach Sean McDermott expressed hope for his recovery, but this marks Cooper's first absence since joining the Bills from the Cleveland Browns.

Additionally, starting cornerback Christian Benford will also be sidelined with a wrist injury, leading to 2022 first-round pick Kaiir Elam stepping in as a starter. However, the Bills will have Curtis Samuel available after he was previously questionable, and Jalen Virgil has been promoted from the practice squad.
