Kareem Hunt, a Pro Bowl running back, has returned to the Kansas City Chiefs after being signed to their practice squad. This move follows an injury to starting running back Isiah Pacheco, who will be sidelined for six to eight weeks. Hunt, who previously led the NFL in rushing yards as a rookie, has spent the last four seasons with the Cleveland Browns.
In his last season with the Browns, he recorded 411 yards and nine touchdowns, despite a career-low average of three yards per carry. Hunt will now work with head coach Andy Reid, splitting time in the backfield with Samaje Perine and rookie Carson Steele.
