The Dallas Cowboys have bolstered their defensive line as they prepare for their regular-season finale against the Washington Commanders by signing defensive tackle Earnest Brown IV from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' practice squad. This move comes as the Cowboys released veteran running back Ezekiel Elliott, creating a vacancy on the roster.
Earnest Brown IV, a product of Denton Ryan, was drafted in the fifth round by the Los Angeles Rams in 2021. He played in seven games for the Rams during the 2023 season, recording five tackles. After being released by the Rams in January, he had a brief stint with the San Francisco 49ers before being picked up by the Buccaneers.
