The Dallas Cowboys have officially confirmed that Dak Prescott will not return for the remainder of the 2024 season. In response, they have signed quarterback Will Grier to their practice squad, releasing defensive back Emany Johnson to make room.
Grier, who previously spent two seasons with the Cowboys, showcased his skills during the 2023 preseason, throwing for 305 yards and four touchdowns in his final game. With Prescott sidelined, the Cowboys now have Cooper Rush, Trey Lance, and Grier as their active quarterbacks.
