The Cowboys are in search of a capable backup for Dak Prescott, especially after losing Cooper Rush in free agency.

The Dallas Cowboys have signed defensive tackle Justin Rogers from the Cincinnati Bengals' practice squad. Rogers had previously been with the Cowboys during training camp but was released during final cuts. He joined the Bengals' practice squad in August but did not see any game action during his 15 weeks with the team.

Rogers was selected by the Cowboys in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft, being the 244th overall pick.
