The Denver Broncos have begun the activation process for safety Delarrin Turner-Yell, who participated in practice for the first time this year. The team has a 21-day window to either activate him to the 53-man roster or keep him on the Physically Unable to Perform list for the rest of the season.
Turner-Yell, a fifth-round pick in 2022, has been recovering from a torn ACL suffered last December. Before his injury, he played in 30 games, making 26 solo tackles and contributing to the team's defense. If activated, he is expected to serve as a reserve and special-teamer.
