The Detroit Lions have made strategic roster adjustments following injuries to key defensive players. They officially added Kwon Alexander and Jonah Williams, and also signed Myles Adams from the Seattle Seahawks' practice squad. Adams, a four-year veteran, has experience in 26 games with the Seahawks.
To accommodate these additions, the Lions placed Malcolm Rodriguez and Mekhi Wingo on injured reserve and waived Maurice Alexander. Despite the injuries, the Lions secured a narrow 23-20 victory against the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving, thanks in part to a strong defensive performance from Za'Darius Smith, Al-Quadin Muhammad, and DJ Reader.
Coach Dan Campbell praised the team's effort and cohesion, emphasizing that their collective performance has allowed them to excel even in challenging circumstances.
