Former William & Mary All-America defensive lineman Nate Lynn signed with the Detroit Lions. Other Tribe standouts on NFL rosters include Bill Murray (Chicago Bears), Luke Rhodes (Indianapolis Colts), Colby Sorsdal (Detroit Lions) and Owen Wright (Baltimore Ravens).

Two JMU players, Reggie Brown and Jamree Kromah, signed with the Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bears respectively as undrafted free agents. Brown had over 1,000 yards receiving last season, while Kromah was a standout defensive lineman.
