The Green Bay Packers have released kicker Anders Carlson after one season. A sixth-round pick in 2023, Carlson started strong but struggled later, hitting only 76.9% of field goals post-Week 6.
Despite a better performance in training camp compared to veteran Greg Joseph, Carlson could not secure his spot.
With Joseph likely taking the lead, the Packers may still consider other options for the kicking role ahead of the season.
Rookie kicker Alex Hale remains on the roster but is expected on the practice squad.
