Former Cincinnati Bengals tight end Irv Smith Jr. has signed with the Houston Texans after spending time on their practice squad. In the 2023 season, Smith recorded 18 receptions for 115 yards and one touchdown with the Bengals.

He was previously with the Kansas City Chiefs before being waived in August. Smith may play against the Bengals in an upcoming game, adding an intriguing storyline to the matchup.
