The Indianapolis Colts have benched second-year quarterback Anthony Richardson, a decision influenced by teammates who deemed him 'naive.' Head coach Shane Steichen made this call after a disappointing performance against the Houston Texans where Richardson completed only 10 of 32 passes.

Richardson, who had previously pulled himself out of a play due to fatigue, will now return as the starter against the New York Jets after veteran Joe Flacco struggled in his absence.
