Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson's optimism for second-year running back Tank Bigsby participating in Week 11 has been dashed, as the team officially ruled him out due to an ankle injury. This absence compounds the Jaguars' challenges as they will also be without starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence against the Detroit Lions.
Bigsby, who has been a significant part of the Jaguars' rushing offense, has struggled recently with just 10 carries for 26 yards in the last two weeks. His injury coincided with the return of veteran running back Travis Etienne.
Additionally, the Jaguars have three players listed as questionable, including left guard Ezra Cleveland, who is expected to play, while defensive tackle Maason Smith remains uncertain for Sunday’s game.
