Michael Mayer, the Las Vegas Raiders tight end, has returned to practice after being sidelined since September 22 due to personal reasons. He was placed on the non-football illness list on October 11, missing four games in total.

Mayer, a second-year player, had a modest start to the season with four receptions for 21 yards. The Raiders had previously traded up to draft him from Notre Dame, but this year they selected Georgia tight end Brock Bowers with their 13th pick, who has made a significant impact with 57 catches for 580 yards and two touchdowns.
