The Pittsburgh Steelers have officially signed Aaron Shampklin from their practice squad to address injuries at the running back position. This decision comes as Jaylen Warren's knee injury and Cordarrelle Patterson's ankle injury leave the team in need of depth.
Shampklin, who went undrafted in 2022 after playing at Harvard, has had a winding path through the NFL, including stints with the Dallas Cowboys and Indianapolis Colts. He made his regular season debut during Week 4 against the Indianapolis Colts, where he recorded his first carry.
