The Miami Dolphins have released Skylar Thompson, their backup quarterback, as they gear up for a game against the Houston Texans. Thompson, drafted in the seventh round in 2022, played in 11 games and made four starts, including a playoff appearance against the Buffalo Bills.
His performance included a 1–3 record and a completion rate of 58.7%. The Dolphins also waived Odell Beckham Jr. and signed Grant DuBose to bolster their receiving corps as they chase a playoff spot in the competitive AFC.
