The Minnesota Vikings have placed linebacker Ivan Pace Jr. on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury sustained during their recent game against the Chicago Bears.

This decision will sideline Pace for at least the next four games. In response, the Vikings activated Gabriel Murphy from injured reserve and signed Jamin Davis from the Green Bay Packers' practice squad.

Pace had been a key player for the Vikings, starting all nine games this season and contributing significantly on defense.
