The Minnesota Vikings have begun trimming their roster as they released several players, including quarterback Matt Corral, following the injury to J.J. McCarthy.

Additionally, veteran cornerback A.J. Green was let go after a brief stint with the team, and numerous other players were waived as the team prepares for an upcoming deadline to finalize their roster.
