In a disappointing turn of events for the Miami Dolphins, running back De'Von Achane has been ruled out for the remainder of the game against the New England Patriots due to a concussion. Achane sustained the injury after a hard tackle by Patriots safety Jaylinn Hawkins.
The second-year player has been a standout for the Dolphins, leading the team in total yards and stepping up as a starter during Raheem Mostert's absence. With Achane sidelined, Mostert is expected to share carries with rookie Jaylen Wright.
Fortunately for Achane, the Dolphins have a bye week, giving him time to recover and potentially return for their next game against the Indianapolis Colts on October 20.
