The New England Patriots have claimed veteran pass rusher Yannick Ngakoue off waivers from the Baltimore Ravens, taking on his remaining salary of $656,667. Ngakoue, who has played for several teams including the Jaguars and Vikings, has recorded 1.5 sacks this season.

The Ravens had hoped to keep him on their practice squad but needed to make room after activating running back Keaton Mitchell. The Patriots, struggling with pass rush issues, released linebacker Raekwon McMillan to accommodate Ngakoue.
