The New Orleans Saints have placed backup offensive lineman Shane Lemieux on injured reserve, following a series of roster adjustments ahead of their game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Initially thought to have a minor injury, Lemieux's ankle issue will sideline him for at least four games. In response, the Saints signed Kyle Hergel from the practice squad and announced that running back Kendre Miller will also miss the game due to a hamstring injury.
Injuries have left the Saints' offensive line depleted, with several players, including Erik McCoy and Cesar Ruiz, also unavailable. The Chiefs are similarly impacted, missing key players like Rashee Rice and Isiah Pacheco due to injuries.
