Philadelphia Eagles have secured safety Reed Blankenship for another year by signing him to a one-year extension through 2025. Blankenship, who joined as an undrafted agent in 2022 from Middle Tennessee, had a standout season in 2023 with 113 tackles, 11 passes defensed, and three interceptions.
By extending his contract early, the Eagles prevent Blankenship from entering restricted free agency next year. He has amassed 25 games and 19 starts in his first two seasons.
