Christian McCaffrey of the San Francisco 49ers is making significant strides in his recovery from Achilles tendinitis during the team's bye week. Coach Kyle Shanahan noted that McCaffrey is engaged in 'simulated practice stuff' and is on track to open his practice window on November 4.

McCaffrey's injury has kept him sidelined since early September, but the team is hopeful for his return against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on November 10. Other injured players, including Deebo Samuel and Jordan Mason, are also being monitored as they recover.
