This move comes as the team deals with injuries, including the absence of defensive tackle Jordan Elliott and the placement of Javon Hargrave and Yetur Gross-Matos on injured reserve.

Anderson previously contributed in a win against the New England Patriots, while Mahoney made his NFL debut in that same game, adding depth to the safety position.
