The Seattle Seahawks have re-signed safety Ty Okada to their practice squad after briefly waiving him to adjust their 53-man roster. Okada was initially moved to the active roster for their Week 7 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons due to an injury to starting safety Rayshawn Jenkins.
Linebacker Ezekiel Turner was released to accommodate Okada's return. Okada, who impressed during the preseason, is seen as a promising developmental player for the Seahawks. The team has yet to fill Okada's previous spot on the active roster.
