After a brief stint with the Kansas City Chiefs and then the Buffalo Bills, Edwards was waived by the Tennessee Titans, allowing the Buccaneers to bring him back. His return adds depth to the secondary alongside Antoine Winfield Jr. and Jordan Whitehead.
