The Carolina Panthers have parted ways with former VP of player personnel in a surprising move after just one year. Adrian Wilson had been with the team since 2021 before being removed from the team website. Wilson held the position since February 2023 and had prior experience with the Arizona Cardinals.
44-year-old Wilson had a successful NFL career as a safety, spending all 12 seasons with the Cardinals. He was selected to five Pro Bowls, tabbed as an All-Pro in 2009, and helped the team reach their first Super Bowl in 2008. Wilson is the latest dismissal under owner David Tepper's leadership for the Panthers.
