The Tennessee Titans will be without cornerback Chidobe Awuzie for an extended period due to a groin injury sustained during a recent game against the Green Bay Packers. Coach Brian Callahan mentioned there’s a strong likelihood Awuzie will be placed on injured reserve, leaving the team to adjust defensively.
Awuzie, who was recently signed to a three-year contract, got injured while covering a receiver on the last play of the first quarter. Rookie Jarvis Brownlee Jr. is expected to step in as a starter alongside L'Jarius Sneed, and the Titans may explore additional roster options if Awuzie’s absence is prolonged.
