All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner plans to sign with the Washington Commanders, bringing veteran leadership to the team. The one-year deal is valued at up to $8.5 million, reuniting Wagner with former coach Dan Quinn from their time at Seattle.

Wagner, a nine-time Pro Bowler, recorded 183 total tackles in the 2023 season. The Commanders have been active in free agency, adding 13 players including a fresh deal with Jeremy Reaves and long snapper Tyler Ott.
