The Washington Commanders are finalizing their roster cuts to meet the 53-player limit by the deadline.

Recently released players include Sam Hartman, a quarterback who may return to the practice squad, and cornerback Tariq Castro-Fields.

Several others, including Julian Good-Jones and James Pierre, have also been cut, as the team prepares for the upcoming season.
