Cole Schwindt has signed a one-year, two-way contract with an average annual value of $800,000. The 23-year-old made his Flames debut last season, appearing in four games, while contributing significantly with 14 goals and 22 assists in 66 regular-season games with the AHL's Calgary Wranglers. He also showcased his playoff prowess, leading the team with four goals, including a game-winning goal. Schwindt was originally selected by Florida in the third round of the 2019 NHL draft and was acquired by Calgary in the trade that sent Matthew Tkachuk to the Panthers.
