Donovan Peoples-Jones is set to be released by the Lions after struggling to establish himself during training camp. Initially viewed as a potential successor to Josh Reynolds, the Michigan product failed to make an impact amid the team's competitive receiver lineup. Added to the team via a trade deadline deal last season, he recorded five catches for 58 yards during his time with Detroit and has a career total of 122 receptions for 1,895 yards and eight touchdowns.
