Carlos Watkins, who rejoined Dan Quinn in Washington after his time with the Cowboys in 2021 and 2022, was signed by the Cowboys to their active roster following Jordan Phillips' injury. Watkins brings experience from having played in 27 games with 18 starts for the Cowboys, recording 59 tackles, one sack, and an interception during his previous tenure. Although he may not secure a starting position with Mazi Smith and Osa Odighizuwa still active, he is expected to find a role quickly on the defensive line.
