The New York Jets made significant roster changes ahead of their matchup against the Houston Texans, placing wide receiver Allen Lazard and defensive tackle Leki Fotu on injured reserve.

Kicker Riley Patterson was signed from the practice squad to replace the struggling Greg Zuerlein, who was also placed on IR due to a knee injury. Lazard, a key player with 30 receptions and five touchdowns this season, had been ruled out with a chest injury.

Additionally, tight end Kenny Yeboah was activated from IR, while offensive lineman Alec Lindstrom joined the active roster. Defensive backs Kendall Sheffield and Jarius Monroe were elevated from the practice squad, and defensive end Takk McKinley was signed to the practice squad.
