All-Pro tight end George Kittle will be sidelined for the San Francisco 49ers' upcoming clash against the Los Angeles Rams due to a hamstring injury. Kittle’s status worsened from doubtful to out after he felt soreness in practice, missing the last two sessions of the week.

His absence adds to a long list of injuries for the 49ers, who are already without All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey and star receiver Deebo Samuel. Kittle had contributed significantly in previous games but now Eric Saubert is expected to step in at tight end.
