UCF receiver Javon Baker was drafted by the New England Patriots in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, continuing a trend of Knights wide receivers making it to the NFL. Baker, a 6-foot-2 player, had a successful career at both UCF and Alabama.

No UCF players were selected in last year's draft, breaking a six-year streak, but Kalia Davis was the last Knight drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 2022.
